The owners of a restored 1920’s Italianate Brick Manor house in Asheville, NC wanted to fit out the ground floor level for the wife’s father whose favorite wall color happened to be Blanched Almond by Benjamin Moore. Using that as a starting point, it developed into a study in calming neutrals and grounding wood tones. We used a local millworker in the Asheville area to produce the floating console and sunroom sofa, to great effect.
